The reception worker who checked us in was super friendly and helpful.

The reception staff have exceptional English skills. I suspect several have lived in English speaking countries for substantial periods. Very helpful. They clearly like to give tourists the best impression of Japan. Very good for young first visitors to an expensive country.
Two lifts to 3rd floor room is rather inconvenient. Work desk can't be used as it is too small, as is the space between bed and desk. Poor decor considering price - or is Japan just too expensive for everything.

I liked it because it was so personal; it felt as if the room was my tiny (and I mean tiny) corner of japan. It had all I needed, and it was well within walking of train stations, food, and shopping.
The room was very, very small. Barely room to walk between the bed and table. But I personally didn't need much, so it was fine for me, though surprising.

Close to the metro station.
Bathroom is for tiny people. It was not clean and the facilities are poor. Old fashioned hotel. Good for only one day stay. Overpriced.

The best things are: 1. With free wifi in hotel room 2. Good English speaking and helpful staff 3. Quite convenience and easy to find 4. Within budget 5. With all consumables like toothbrush, etc Things to improve: 1. A bit old fashion 2. A bit small room Overall, it is a good and budgetary hotel. I have enjoyed my my single 6 days trip happily. ^^

Nice location. Good price.
Naked plasticy duvet with sheet underneath, a proper duvet cover would be better.More room for toiletries would be nice.

Just few minutes walking from the shinjuku station where you can take almost all tokyo metro lines and many jr lines.
Very small and bad smelling room.
